Tracking a person requires clear authority and appropriate consent, unless you are acting as a parent, guardian, carer, or responsible organisation with a lawful and proportionate basis.
Acceptable Use
Lawful, authorised tracking only.
OneTrax devices and services must only be used where you have the legal right or authority to track the person, vehicle, property, tool, or asset involved, and where any required consent or notice has been provided.

Customers may be asked to confirm their identity, ownership, authority, and intended use before supply or activation.
Allowed use
Use OneTrax only where tracking is legitimate, transparent, and appropriate.
You are responsible for making sure your use of OneTrax complies with applicable law, privacy rules, employment duties, and any consent or notice requirements.
Examples of acceptable use
- Tracking your own pets, luggage, bikes, tools, or property.
- Tracking children in your care where you are a parent or legal guardian and use is proportionate.
- Agreed family, care, lone-working, or personal safety support.
- Tracking vehicles, plant, trailers, tools, or equipment owned or controlled by your business.
- Fleet tracking where staff are clearly informed and the business has a lawful basis.
Prohibited use
OneTrax must not be used for stalking, harassment, coercive control, covert tracking, unlawful surveillance, or tracking a person, vehicle, property, or movements without proper authority.
Zero tolerance
We may refuse, suspend, or terminate misuse.
OneTrax may refuse supply, delay activation, request more information, suspend devices, terminate accounts, preserve relevant records, and cooperate with law enforcement or safeguarding bodies where legally required or appropriate.
Employees and fleet users
Business customers are responsible for telling staff when tracking is used, why it is used, what data is collected, how long it is kept, and how private or personal use is handled.
Report misuse
If you believe a OneTrax device is being used unlawfully, email support@onetraxgps.com with as much detail as you can safely provide.
